What we collect

• Calculator inputs stay in your browser. We do not transmit your salary, contributions, or filing status to our servers, and we do not store them.
• Standard analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. They collect aggregated, non-PII session data (page views, device type, country, scroll depth, click and rage- click signals). IP addresses are anonymized in our GA configuration.
• No accounts. The site does not require sign-up, does not sell or share user data with third parties beyond the analytics tools above, and does not run remarketing or ad personalization tags as of this update.

Cookies

GA4 and Clarity set cookies for session and behavior analytics. You can opt out via your browser’s settings, browser-level Do Not Track signals, or extensions like uBlock Origin. The site functions fully without analytics enabled.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for adults handling personal finance questions. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

Texas residents and California residents (under CCPA) can request a summary of the data analytics tools have collected and request deletion. Email hello@texastaxcalculator.com.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
